IHP offers robust ceramic band heaters for very high working temperatures. These band heaters will be customized to suit your machine and process. The band heater provides often with built in sensor and holes for measuring points directly on the heated object.
Band heaters are produced normally with a diameter span of ø60mm to ø630mm and a broad span of 30mm to 450mm with a surface load up to 9W/cm². In the building process we use carefully selected ceramic blocks, also called steatite blocks, for a good electric insulation and temperature tolerance.
The band heaters will be delivered with built in thermic insulation. They have low heat losses and a steady heated surface.
The band heater normally provides with multiple choices of connection boxes, connectors or heat protected leads with ceramic beads.
