A through flow heater effectively heats liquids, oils and gases in flow. IHPs through flow heaters are made of very robust and powerful designs where we heat the medium to the desired temperature directly at the outgoing connection. We also design with lower power in cases where the medium recycles in a closed cycle or where the power demand is low. The through flow heater is then often called circulation heater.
IHP designs through flow heaters completely according to process requirements and customer specifications. A complete through flow heater consists of tube, inlet, outlet, electric heating elements, flanges and connection boxes. We also built in thermal insulation, thermostats, temperature sensors, flow sensors, pressure sensors and overheating protection to achieve the right operating characteristics.
The through flow heater is normally controlled by a separate control cabinet or through a control panel connected to a PLC. For simpler installations and lower power, mechanical thermostat control can be used.
IHP also helps with control systems, installation and preventive maintenance.
