Mica heaters 400°C

Mica heaters are produced like a mica flat heater but without the casing. This makes the mica heater to be considered as an open heating element. These heaters are often used in food service equipment, packing machines, plastic and rubber manufacturing and heating tools.

The profit with the mica heaters without casing is that they are very thin, normally between 1,5mm and 2 mm, and have a fast and efficient heating time. The Mica heater is one of the most energy-efficient and cost-effective of all heaters available on the market today.

A mica heater is produced with high quality resistance wire, wound around a micanite sheet sealed between two outer micanite sheets that are assembled.

The mica heater can be customized by shape, holes, cutouts, slots and built-in temperature sensors.
